ok got abit more done. Credits - still just Mitch Blake for the chassis and running gear, and myself for the tipper bits i think im getting close to finishing the modelling. im sure there are things that need fixing that yous will point out

Fix ur normals.. Surface/ normals/calculate If that doesnt fix them, In polygon mode select the curved side of the tipper and then detach polies and re-calculate normals.

i havnt assigned any materials yet, but i read that trailers usually only have one material. should i start a thread in the help me, might be handy for anyone else doing it for the 1st time

Well mate that looks perfect. To get it ingame.. Chose an already modded trailer.. Export your trailer to replace the trailer. Make sure the boxes read/write Mat, Tobj, PMC, PMD are NOT Ticked.. If you tick them you will have problems. Then make it an SCS (i'm sure you know how to do it) and then test it Then download yourself a copy of Hex editor Neo (absolutelly free) You use it to make trailers standalone. Then when you get up to this stage Pm me or ask me on xfire or something for me to send you the vid of making things standalone..

well mate that is lookin sweet,i like it,that tipper and my tipper with jaidens bins will make a nice bulk haulage section for AF,heres what i have been doing tonite,with the advice and help from MAV making them standalone i hav done this made the wings shorter added the rubber strips on the side raised the cab about 4 inches and closed the gap under the back of the cab so u arent staring out the front
